Transmission for Forklifts

Forklift Transmission - A transmission or gearbox utilizes gear ratios in order to offer speed and torque conversions from one rotating power source to another. "Transmission" refers to the entire drive train that includes, final drive shafts, prop shaft, gearbox, clutch and differential. Transmissions are more normally used in motor vehicles. The transmission changes the output of the internal combustion engine to be able to drive the wheels. These engines must operate at a high rate of rotational speed, something that is not right for stopping, starting or slower travel. The wind turbine gearbos converts the high slow turbine rotation into the faster electrical generator rotations.
